Here's a refined version of your review: This spot is conveniently located at Stanford Shopping Center, so parking is plentiful. After a day of shopping, we decided to stop in for a light dinner. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice, but the ordering process was a bit confusing. You have to walk up to the front to order, but there was a long line, and after waiting 5-10 minutes, I realized it wasn't moving because most people were actually waiting for their food, not to order. Only one couple had placed their order. The staff didn't clearly explain this, which caused unnecessary delays. One of the employees, who seemed overwhelmed, was quite unpleasant and unhelpful, adding to the confusion. The cashier kept asking for assistance, but this was poorly handled. A few items from our order were missed, but we decided to overlook that. Now, onto the food. I loved that the kitchen is open, so you can see everything being prepared--it tempted me to order more than I had planned! I had the steak plate with potatoes and a salad. The steak was perfectly cooked, though the salad could've used more dressing. I didn't want to deal with the line again, so I let it slide. The grilled chicken was delicious--juicy and flavorful--but the salmon was the star of the meal. They also offer kids' meals, which were reasonably sized. While they have a small selection of beverages, including beer and wine, the overall experience was pleasant enough that I'd come back for another tasty meal.

Tender greens is my favorite salad place! I could literally eat their chipotle bbq chicken salad and tuna niçoise salad everyday! All the flavors and ingredients just meld together so well, and I love how their dressing isn't overpowering like other salad places. I also love how their salads come with a lot of toppings and not just greens :D My only gripe is that they recently started cutting up their chicken into pieces for the salad rather than leaving it in large pieces. I'm not sure if this is a recent change at all tender greens or just this location, but I much prefer the big pieces and being able to cut up the meat myself! Overall, the salad is still great though. This weekend, we also got a fried chicken plate since they were advertising a new recipe. I thought the chicken had a nice crunch and was seasoned well, but I would have enjoyed some kind of sauce or aioli on the since to go with the chicken, since it can get a bit one note. I think the bf enjoyed it more than me. I also love their soups and the green drink. The seasonal watermelon agua fresca is also super refreshing!

I love tender greens. It that basic, maybe, but it always delivers. Fresh ingredients, well seasoned and good flavors + decent prices and kind service. It's an easy go to, and there's a nice patio to sit outside if the weather is good.

Overall, I really like the food. Been there twice in the past week so I'm combining those two experiences First visit, I ordered the Chipotle BBQ Chicken Salad which is one of my favs. On this visit, the chicken was a bit bland and lacking flavor. My husband had the chicken pesto sandwich (which is his usual) and it was good. Minor blip when I ordered a glass of Chardonnay, the guy poured me a room temperature serve - I think the guy at the register was new and when I asked him if he had a chilled bottle, someone else stepped in and took care of it and told him to get white wine bottles from the fridge in the future. Last night, I had the Thai bowl with prawns. I don't know how they do it, but every time I've ordered this dish (probably about 10x), the prawns have been perfect. Last night was no exception and my only complaint is that the portions of the bowl seemed significantly smaller (really just the greens) than before and the salad from the previous week was a little smaller (prior to last week I probably hadn't been there for 5 months). My husband had the same sandwich as the previous week and was happy. His only complaint is they don't serve fries. ;) Love that you can sit outside with your pup and we will continue to go there!

Tasty food in a cute shopping area at a pretty reasonable price considering other choices in the area. I like the grilled bread they use in the sandwiches (you also get a piece in the salad). We came during lunch time so it was quite busy. Wish the area could've been cleaner since there were a lot of leftover crumbs on the table as well as random food crumbs dropped on the floor.

delicious! The steak is very well seasoned, and there's chili peppers in the salad which adds some really good heat. I checked in on Yelp, where this got me a free seasonal agua fresca. Today's flavor is pineapple basil and it was refreshing

This is a great eatery with fresh ingredients and flavorful food. It reminds me of the old establishment, Plutos; a place where they cater towards salads and sandwiches with light sides. Today for lunch, I ordered the chicken chipotle sandwich which was just delicious. The rustic bread drizzled with olive oil and salt & pepper gave the sandwich more texture, the avocado is creamy, and the chicken is grilled to perfection. The chipotle sauce is light tasting with notes of spicy aioli. I washed it all down with a green juice drink which consists of different veggies. Their sandwiches are tasty but pretty small in portion; I could've eaten two to feel stuffed. I'd love to come back again!

We had lunch here on a shopping day at Stanford Shopping Center. We dined outside with our dogs. I had the Blue Zone bowl with maitaki mushrooms and pineapple basil ague fresca. The drink tasted fine, but I would have preferred it without the basil. I usually love mushrooms, but did not love the maitaki ones. The best part of the bowl were the purple potatoes and I got too few of them! My daughter had the Pacific bowl with chicken katsu, and she enjoyed it. The food seems to be quite healthy!

I got the chipotle barbecue plate that comes with the potatoes and romaine heart and for a drink I got the Agua Fresca. It was my first time here with my sister and I honestly was not disappointed. The chicken was really juicey and not dry at all. The potatoes were seasoned really well and easy to bite into. The workers were really friendly and nice when taking orders & bringing the food. I think we sat there for maybe ten minutes and the food was brought out pretty quickly. I would give my food 10/10 but I think the portioning could be better. The place is a great sit-down place to eat while you are shopping or even in the area. I would definitely go here again!
